Hello, I'm Melissa, and my journey in the mental health field began in 2015, sparking a passion that has only grown stronger with time. I've had the privilege of engaging with nearly every aspect of front-of-house operations within mental health agencies. My experience spans direct client interaction, scheduling, office management, billing, as well as navigating the intricate landscape of insurance credentialing and paneling, including the complex world of CAQH.

For more than twenty years, I've actively engaged in church life, immersing myself in diverse roles that include children's ministry, youth ministry, missions, and facilitating multiple small groups. I've also had the privilege of delivering Sunday evening messages on occasion. As a fiercely passionate advocate for women in ministry, I strongly believe in fostering equal opportunities for women to be heard in the church and from the pulpit.

My guiding principles are rooted in having a servant's heart and meeting individuals at the point they are in their personal journey. I'm dedicated to treating every human being with unwavering compassion and respect, regardless of their background – be it race, religion, nationality, gender, or sexuality.

My passion lies in extending a helping hand to women, particularly those who have endured the pain of domestic violence. I am also deeply committed to supporting those who have faced unimaginable trauma.

Having confronted the unthinkable myself, I strive to be a source of guidance and support for others when their world has been turned upside down.

Currently, I am working toward the completion of my BSW degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University while simultaneously working towards obtaining a certificate of ministry. My decision to pursue social work as my chosen field of study was deliberate, as its core values and ethics closely align with the teachings of Jesus. Both social work and Jesus's message emphasize the importance of compassion, empathy, and a wholehearted dedication to serving others, regardless of who they are or where they’re from.
